OC Transpo launching online reporting tool for safety

OTTAWA – OC Transpo is launching a new online reporting tool for people who have safety concerns on buses or on property owned by the transit company.
According to OC Transpo, the system will be the first of its kind in Canada, and will allow people to post concerns anonymously.
The information is then passed on from the site to law enforcement.
A staff report says the goal of this system, which does not have a launch date yet, is to encourage people to report incidents of sexual harassment, or any other unacceptable or illegal behaviour.
