Pembroke dentist Dr. Christy Natsis sentenced to five years in jail

OTTAWA – Pembroke dentist Dr. Christy Natsis has been sentenced to five years in jail for her role in a fatal collision four years ago.

She has also been banned from driving for four years.

Natsis was found guilty in June of impaired driving causing death and dangerous driving causing death in connection with a crash on Highway 17, near Arnprior, that killed Bryan Casey in March of 2011.

The sentence was handed down at the Elgin Street courthouse.
