Demonstrators march for action on climate change in Ottawa

OTTAWA – People around the world marched for climate solutions over the weekend, including in Ottawa.

In the nation’s capital, 25,000 people took part in the 100% Possible March for Climate Solutions and Justice.

Demonstrators called on Canadian leaders to back an ambitious climate deal at the UN-led climate conference in Paris.

The march wrapped up with a human “100%” sign formed in front of the Peace Tower on Parliament Hill.
