Police issue arrest warrant for robbery suspect

OTTAWA – Police have issued an arrest warrant for a man in connection to a series of pharmacy robberies.
Joseph Arial, age 39 of Ottawa, has been charged in connection to robberies on Bank Street, Montreal Road, Innes Road and Strandherd Drive on October 3 and 5, 2015.
In each robbery, a man entered a pharmacy, used a note to demand money and prescription drugs, and in at least two of the cases, a second man was seen outside the premises, waiting in a vehicle.
Joseph Arial is known to have been in Ottawa as recently as December 10, and is described as:
-Caucasian
-brown hair
-possibly unshaven
-125 lbs.
-5’11” tall
-slim build
-brown eyes
He faces a number of charges including, robbery, possession of stolen property and conspiracy to commit an indictable offence.
An investigation into the second suspect continues.
