Maxwell’s closing after 30 years in business

OTTAWA – A popular nightclub and eatery is closing up shop after 30 years in business.

In a post on Facebook, it was announced that the name and face of Maxwell’s is being retired.

The post also announces that Maxwell’s will be replaced by two new exciting projects at the location, including a vegetarian restaurant, according to the Citizen.

According to the Citizen, Pure Kitchen on Richmond Road in Westboro has plans to open a second spot at that location.
