Rainfall warning in effect for Ottawa and Gatineau areas

OTTAWA – Environment Canada has issued a rainfall warning for Ottawa and Gatineau, Sunday.
Rain will be heavy at times with between 25 and 30 mm of rain expected before it turns to snow Sunday night.
Children and pets should be kept away from creeks and river banks.
Ottawa Police are urging drivers to slow down and drive to conditions.
They also expect roads to become slick overnight as temperatures drop to around -10C
