Man seriously burned in Centretown fire

OTTAWA – A man has been seriously burned in a fire in Centretown.
Crews were called to 379 Gilmour St., near Bank Street, around 10:30 p.m. Thursday after receiving a call from an alarm company.
When crews arrived, flames were visible from an upper floor apartment and a working fire was declared.
A man was found when firefighters entered the apartment, and he was rushed to hospital.
The cause of the fire is unclear at this point, and there is no word yet on damage.
