Young girl struck by car outside elementary school

OTTAWA — A 6 year-old girl was struck by a vehicle in front of Featherston Public School.

The collision happened around 4 p.m., Monday, at the corner of Featherston and Wyndale Cres.

Ottawa Police said the girl was conscious and talking when police and paramedics arrived.

She was taken to CHEO in non-life threatening condition.
