OTTAWA – Two people have been injured in fire in a detached bungalow in Richmond.
Fire crews were called to 105 Lennox Street, just before midnight Sunday, after a 911 call reporting visible flames.
Three people had made it out of the home by the time crews arrived, but the roof was fully involved.
A second alarm was declared. Crews had the fire under control by around 1 a.m.
Two people were injured, with one being taken to hospital.
Three people have been left without a place to stay and both the Red Cross and Salvation Army have been called in to help.
There is no word yet on the cause of the fire, or how much damage it caused.
