One youth facing charges in pathway swarmings

OTTAWA – One youth is facing charges in connection to a series of swarmings last week in the south-east end.
There have been a series of attacks and robberies on a pathway in the Albion Road and Lorry Greenberg Drive area that police say isn’t well lit — and is bordered by trees and bushes.
According to police, a 14-year-old boy turned themselves in at police headquarters and now faces a number of charges:
-four counts of robbery with an offensive weapon
-three counts of conspiracy to commit an offence
-three counts of wearing a disguise
-three counts of possession of a weapon
He was scheduled for a Wednesday court appearance.
The investigation is ongoing, and police are still looking for two suspects.
