Booth Street Bridge reopens to traffic

OTTAWA — The Booth Street Bridge reopens to drivers, cyclists and pedestrians Sunday.
Booth Street, between Albert Street and the Sir John A. Macdonald Parkway had been closed since December 2014 for contruction related to the Confederation Line of the LRT.
The bridge crosses the tracks near Pimisi Station.
Temporary cycling paths that have a 1-metre painted lane – which has to be shared with pedestrians – are in place on Booth Street.
Segregated bike lanes – which were originally excluded from the bridge’s plan – will be added in the next two years with part of the $2-million cost coming from the federal government.
