Hells Angels shut down Ottawa Nomads chapter

OTTAWA – The Hells Angels have unexpectedly shut down their Ottawa Nomads chapter, less than two months after hosting hundreds of bikers for a national gathering.

The group of elite bikers were based out of a Hells Angels compound located on Piperville Rd., near the 417, in Carlsbad Springs.

OPP Detective Staff Sgt. Len Isnor, head of the provincial biker enforcement unit, told 1310 NEWS he does not know why the biker gang closed its chapter on August 28.

More than 500 Hells Angels motorcycle riders visited Ottawa, between July 22 to 24, for a mandatory convention called the ‘Canada Run.’

The gathering was held to mark the club’s 15th anniversary in Ontario.
