Gun and ammunition found after shots reported on Cedarwood

OTTAWA — Police have found a handgun and ammunition, after calls came in from people hearing gunshots in the 2800 block of Cedarwood Drive around 1:20am on Monday.
Shell casings were also located from the reported shots fired on Cedarwood Drive, as well as bullet holes in the 200 block of Colbert Crescent.
No injuries were reported.
The Guns and Gangs Unit is leading the investigation.
