Manotick crash leaves two critical

OTTAWA – Two people are in critical condition after a crash in Manotick over the weekend.

The crash happened around 4:30 p.m. Sunday on Manotick Station Road, near Snake Island Road.

Both people had to be extricated from the vehicle by fire crews and paramedics treated both for massive head and spinal injuries.

One victim was transported to hospital by ambulance while the other was transported by Ornge air ambulance.

Both required surgery and at last report remain in critical condition.
