Convicted rapist who escaped Kingston facility still at large

A manhunt continues for an inmate from Collins Bay Institution in Kingston, who escaped Sunday night and remains at-large.
David Maracle, 51, was convicted of a series of sexual assaults in the 1980’s and 1990’s, including a horrific attack on a then-14-year-old girl.
Eight years ago, Maracle was convicted of the 1997 abduction of a then-14-year-old girl at gunpoint outside her high school in Brantford. Maracle took her into some woods, where he bound her and repeatedly sexually assaulted her.
Maracle has also been convicted of sexually assaulting two other women, plus choking and beating another, between 1987 and 1997.
Maracle escaped a halfway house at Collins Bay on foot, Sunday evening.
He is described as:
-Indigenous
-5’10”
-about 200 lbs.
-short, dark hair
-last seen wearing green or grey cargo pants, a white t-shirt, and a dark jacket/sweater
Kingston Police say if you see someone matching his description, you should call 911.
