All-day breakfast at McDonalds begins today

OTTAWA — A.M. or P.M. no longer matters for McDonald’s patrons craving a McMuffin, as the fast food chain launches its all-day breakfast menu in Canada.
McDonald’s Canada extends its breakfast hours until close at about 1,100 of its 1,450 restaurants, starting today.
McDonald’s is one of two fast food chains launching an all-day breakfast menu; A&W Food Services of Canada will launch its program next week, on February 27, at most of its 879 stores in the country.
Both companies say customer demand drove the decision and that they’ve tested the concept in some of their restaurants as early as last year.
Earlier this month, McDonald’s Canada announced the arrival of all-day breakfast at 17 of its restaurants in Ontario, Quebec and British Columbia.
Both companies will offer limited breakfast menus during the extended hours.
