GATINEAU – Police in Gatineau have arrested a man in connection with a child luring investigation.
Police have arrested and charged Richard Thomas Miller, 35.
In March, police issued an arrest warrant for Miller as detectives looked into allegations of child luring and sexual contact with young girls.
Police allege the suspect used internet applications popular among teens to engage in sex-focused conversations with youngsters and encourage them to send intimate photos and videos.
Police say one girl was lured to a home with the intent to engage in sexual contact.
Following a raid on February 22 at a home on Rue Vaudreuil, detectives were concerned there could be other victims.
Charges against Miller include sexual touching, invitation to sexual touching, internet luring, and making explicit material available to a child.
