Information pickets to be held outside local LCBOs

OTTAWA — LCBO employees will hold information pickets outside a couple of local stores, Thursday.
A picket will be held outside the LCBO on Innes Road, between Mer Bleue and Tenth Line in Orleans, from 1 until 2 p.m.
Another one-hour picket is scheduled for the Gloucester Centre LCBO, starting at 3 p.m.
Employees and their union have been holding these information pickets over the past few weeks at LCBO stores across the province, to draw attention to their demands that include job security, better shifts for casual employees and a ban on employees working alone.
