OPP seek missing steer in Augusta Township

AUGUSTA – Provincial police are looking for a missing steer in Augusta Township.

The Red Angus escaped from a farm on Country Road 18 in Augusta Township on October 27.

The steer was last spotted on Forsythe Road earlier his week.

Police say they’re concerned the animal could become a hazard to drivers.

If you spot the cow, you’re asked to call the OPP at 613-925-4221 —- but for your safety, police say not to approach the animal.
