What’s closed in Ottawa Monday?

OTTAWA – Remembrance Day was marked Saturday, November 11, which means some closures around the city on Monday.
With Remembrance Day falling on a Saturday, Monday is a federal stat holiday.
Banking:
Most banks are closed Monday.
Client services:
Ottawa City Hall and all seven Client Service Centres, including the Government Service Centres located at 110 Laurier Avenue West, are closed Monday.
Provincial Offences Court, located at 100 Constellation Crescent, are closed Monday.
The City’s 311 Contact Centre is open for urgent matters requiring the City’s immediate attention.
Garbage and recycling:
Curbside green bin, recycling, garbage, and leaf and yard waste collection takes place on its regular day with no changes to the collection schedule.
Multi-residential garbage and recycling container collection takes place on its regularly scheduled day with no changes.
The Trail Road Landfill site is open.
Ottawa Public Health:
The Ottawa Public Health Information Line and AIDS line are closed Monday.
The SITE office at 179 Clarence Street will be open Saturday from 9 a.m. to 9 p.m., however, the site mobile van will be operating on a regular schedule from 5 to 11:30 p.m.
Library services:
All branches, departments and services of the Ottawa Public Library were closed on Remembrance Day, and have returned to regular business.
