Algonquin College students can now apply for strike relief

OTTAWA – Students at Algonquin College can begin applying for strike relief funds, Wednesday.
Each full-time student who incurred extra costs because of the strike can apply for up to $500.
Costs eligible for strike relief funds include things like charges for changing travel plans over the holidays, or extra food, housing and transportation expenses.
Applications will be open until the end of next semester, in April 2018.
