Man burned in welding accident, explosion

A welding accident has left a man injured.

Around 8:30 p.m. Tuesday, emergency crews responded to 4282 Piperville Road, for a welding accident that caused an explosion.

A fire caused by the explosion was out by the time crews arrived at the scene.

One man suffered non-critical burns to both arms and was taken to hospital by paramedics.
