Early morning crash causes road closure and power outage

Police are asking motorist to avoid Walkley Road and Riverside drive due to a collision.

Walkley Road will be closed from Springland Dive to Riverside Drive, and Northbound Riverside Drive will be closed from Revelstoke Drive to Walkley Rd.

No injuries were reported and police say they expect to have the road reopened by noon.

This incident also caused 529 residents to lose power in the areas of Walkley, Riverside, and Revelstoke.

Hydro Ottawa crews are currently on scene and say power should be restored by 10 a.m.
