Police have charged an Ottawa man with child pornography offences

Back in October of 2018, police were conducting an investigation into a Peer to Peer (P2P) network when an IP address sharing hundreds of files of suspected child pornography was traced to a location in the Nepean area.

A search warrant was executed on Friday and digital devices were seized that revealed an extensive collection of images and videos of child pornography.

Jeffrey Marquardt, 51, is faced with two charges of possession of child pornography and one count of making child pornography available.

He has a court date on March 2.
