Farm Boy cheese balls recalled due to possible contamination

A series of cheese balls, sold at Farm Boy stores in Ontario, are being recalled because of possible contamination with Listeria.
The cheese balls were sold up to and including Sunday.
Six varieties of cheese balls are affected:
- Cheese Ball Trio — Fiesta, Cranberry Pecan, Bacon Cheddar and/or FB Cheese Ball Trio, with UPC codes starting with 0 238211
- FB Blue Cheese & Walnut Ball, with UPC codes starting with 0 238274
- Cranberry Pecan Cheese Ball and/or FB Cran Pecan Cheese Ball, with UPC code 8 08912 00884 4 or starting with 0 232337
- Fiesta Cheese Ball and/or Farm Boy Fiesta Cheese Ball, with UPC code 8 08912 00883 7 or starting with 0 238283
- FB Wht Choc Pecan Cran Ball, with UPC codes starting with 0 238275
- Bacon Cheddar Cheese Ball and/or FB Bacon Chedd. Cheese Ball, with UPC code 8 08912 00885 1 or starting with 0 238284
Consumers are being told to not consume the recalled products, and return them to the store where they were purchased.
The Canadian Food Inspection Agency says the recall was triggered by its test results. The CFIA is conducting a food safety investigation, which may lead to additional recalls.
