One person injured in Constance Bay fire

One person has been injured and displaced following a fire that took place in the West Carleton-March ward.
On Friday November 29, at around 4:25 p.m, Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to a 911 call about smoke and flames coming from a private residence located at 4410 Dunrobin Road. After arriving at the scene, firefighters discovered that the fire had started in the garage and immediately began firefighting operations.
The homeowner was treated by Ottawa Paramedic Services for minor burns to hands but was not transported to hospital and is being displaced as a result. Damage are also being estimated at approximately $700,000.
The fire is one of many that took place on Friday.

An OFS inspector is currently investigating the cause of the blaze.
