One dead in North Glengarry house fire

One man is dead after a fire at a home on County Road 34 in North Glengarry.

Ontario Provincial Police (OPP) responded to the emergency around 5:40 a.m., Friday, and found North Glengarry Fire Department members on the scene, extinguishing the flames.

It was reported that there was a person inside the house — investigators eventually discovered the body of a man. 

Investigators from the Ontario Fire Marshall (OFM) and the Coroner's Office, alongside OPP officers, continue to investigate the incident.
