An app that can get you a ride and take-out can now also get you groceries.
Uber launched its grocery delivery service, Tuesday, in Ottawa and Gatineau.
Customers using the Uber and Uber Eats apps to access grocery delivery will have their supplies delivered by Cornershop, a grocery delivery service.
The service allows you to order groceries and other goods from Metro, Walmart, Rexall and Yves Rocher.
Uber now joins other grocery delivery services available in Ottawa like Instacart, Loblaws' PC Express and Sobey's “Voila” grocery delivery service.
Ottawa is Uber's fourth city for offering grocery delivery, after Toronto, Montreal and Quebec City.
