Cineplex on Carling Avenue temporarily closed after employee tests positive for COVID-19
The Cineplex theatre on Carling Avenue is temporarily closed after an employee tested positive for COVID-19.
According to a statement from the company, the individual was last in the theatre, located at 3090 Carling Ave., on Saturday, August 29.
In response, Cineplex is conducting thorough deep cleaning and sanitation while working with local authorities to investigate the employee's recent shifts and direct contacts.

The company is also instructing potentially exposed team members to get tested and self-isolate.
Cineplex Cinemas Ottawa will reopen Friday, September 4.
