A fire in Bells Corners has left three people without a place to stay.
Just before 9:30 p.m. on Tuesday, October 27, Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) responded to a 911 call reporting a fire, but the call was disconnected before the dispatcher could get the address.
Using the dispatch system, the call was traced to a mobile home park on Redfern Avenue.
A number of neighbours also called 911 to report smoke and flames and when crews arrived on scene, three minutes after the initial call, the mobile home was heavily consumed by the blaze.
According to OFS, a second alarm was declared when they arrived on scene, due to the proximity of the mobile home to neighbouring homes.
It took about an hour to get the fire under control.
There were no injuries and an OFS investigator has been called in to determine the cause of the fire.
