UPDATED: Hydro Ottawa restores power to thousands in Orleans, Stittsville

Hydro Ottawa dealt with several power outages due to wind on Monday morning.

The largest outage affected an area of Orleans. There were 4,109 customers without power in an area stretching from St. Joseph Boulevard to Navan Road and from the Chapel Hill North area over to Mer Bleue Road. 

Meantime, there were 1,252 customers without power in the Hazeldean Road and Stittsville area. 

There was also a smaller outage in the area of West Carleton-March, with 196 customers affected. 

Hydro Ottawa is no longer experiencing any outages.
