COVID-19 vaccine clinics coming to more high-risk neighbourhoods: Ottawa Public Health

Ottawa Public Health (OPH) is expanding the number high-risk communities where residents over 80 will be eligible to receive a COVID-19 vaccination. 

The health unit expects to add new neighbourhoods to its list every Monday, in the future.

The pop-up clinics will be available to residents 80-years-old and up, and for those who receive home care for chronic illnesses. 

The neighbourhoods include:

  • Bayshore – Belltown
  • Britannia Village
  • Carleton Heights – Rideauview
  • Carlington
  • Carson Grove – Carson Meadows
  • Emerald Woods – Sawmill Creek
  • Greenboro East
  • Hawthorne Meadows – Sheffield Glen
  • Hunt Club East – Western Community
  • Hunt Club Park
  • Ledbury – Heron Gate – Ridgemont
  • Lowertown
  • Manor Park
  • Overbrook – McArthur
  • Parkwood Hills – Stewart Farm
  • Riverview
  • Sandy Hill
  • Vanier North
  • Vanier South
  • West Centretown
  • Whitehaven – Queensway Terrace North

The three pop-up clinics set to open Friday, March 5 are in the following communities and will serve the original seven high-risk areas announced by Ottawa Public Health:

  • Emerald Woods 
  • Heatherington 
  • Ledbury 
  • Heron Gate 
  • Ridgemont 
  • Riverview 
  • Sawmill Creek
