COVID-19 outbreak declared at British Hotel, Restaurant and Pub in Gatineau

Health officials have declared a COVID-19 outbreak at the British Hotel, Restaurant and Pub in Gatineau.

The Centre intégré de santé et des services sociaux de l'Outaouais (CISSS) says, at this point there are less than five confirmed cases of the virus among workers and that the risk for customers is low. 

However, patrons who were at the pub, located at 71 Principale Principale St., in Aylmer, between Friday, March 5, and Friday, March 12, are asked to call the health unit at 1-877-644-4545 if they have health concerns. 

The owner has temporarily closed the establishment and is cooperating with the public health epidemiological investigation.
