Five possible transmission dates determined for COVID positive OC Transpo bus operator

A ninth OC Transpo bus operator has tested positive for COVID-19 since last Thursday.

The employee worked last Wednesday through Sunday on several different routes, including school routes. Those routes St. Patrick High School Wednesday afternoon, LD High School on Thursday, and Bell High School Friday afternoon.

Their last day of work was April 12. Since then, the bus operator has been self-isolating at home. 

In this case, Ottawa Public Health (OPH) has advised that the key dates of possible infection are April 7, 8, 9, 11, and 12.

OC Transpo is working to identify vehicles and facilities that may require additional cleaning over and above its enhanced cleaning process. 

OPH is following up with family and friends, as well as OC Transpo employees who may have been in close contact with this person on the key dates.
