Ottawa man facing over a dozen charges after Orleans drug bust

An Ottawa man is facing 13 charges after a drug bust in Orleans this week.

Following an investigation that began in early June, members of the Ottawa Police Service Drug Unit executed a search warrant at a home on Mariette Street, between Amiens Street and Queenswood Crescent.

Officers seized various controlled substances, Canadian currency, four cell phones, drug packaging materials and two digital scales. 

Patrick Lamoureux, 39, faces the following charges:

 

  • Possession of property or thing obtained by crime exceeding $5,000
  • Six counts of possessing a Schedule I Substance for trafficking 
  • Possessing a Schedule III Substance for trafficking
  • Possessing Schedule IV Substance for trafficking
  • Two counts of possessing of Cannabis for the purpose of distributing
  • Two counts of possessing for the purpose of selling 

Lamoureux was released and is due in court in Ottawa at a later date.
