Heavy police presence at Rideau Hall for RCMP training exercise
Don't be surprised if you see an increased police presence around Rideau Hall.
The National Division of the RCMP is holding a training exercise on the grounds at 1 Sussex Drive, Friday, July 9.
The RCMP says Mounties train regularly on various situations and scenarios, to ensure operational preparedness.

Residents are reminded not to be alarmed by the large police presence, and not to call 911, unless there is an actual emergency.
This morning, @Nat_Div_RCMP will be conducting an operation-based TRAINING EXERCISE with partner agencies on the grounds of Rideau Hall (near 1 Sussex Drive) in Ottawa.
