One man dead after overnight stabbing in Nepean

One man has been killed in a stabbing in Nepean.

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) confirms a stabbing occurred on Sherry Lane, near Hunt Club Road West and Woodroffe Avenue, around 1:30 a.m. on Thursday, July 22.
Officers have a section of the street blocked off and the investigation is underway.
This is Ottawa's 11th homicide of the year.
