Two men charged with murder of 40-year-old Barry’s Bay man

OPP have charged two people in relation to a suspicious death that happened in North Algona-Wilberforce.
On July 21 at about 6:30 p.m., Killaloe OPP responded to a 911 call at a motel on Highway 60, where officers located a 40-year-old man with a serious injury.
Despite life-saving measures by the Renfrew County Paramedics, the man died.
He was identified as Gilbert Rumleskie, originally of Barry’s Bay.
Two men from North Algona-Wilberforce were arrested at the scene and have been charged in connection with the death.
Brandon Lamoureux, 27, was charged with second-degree murder.
Jordan Plumb, 19, was charged with manslaughter.
The accused were scheduled to appear for a bail hearing on Friday before a Pembroke court.
The investigation is ongoing.
