OC Transpo bus driver tests positive for COVID-19 after running various routes across Ottawa

The City of Ottawa says one of its OC Transpo bus drivers has tested positive for COVID-19.

Their last day of work was December 15, and the employee has been self-isolating since that time. 

The city says it is working directly with Ottawa Public Health (OPH) to conduct contact tracing of individuals who may have been in close contact with the employee. 

In this case OPH has advised that the key dates are the 48-hour period prior to the onset of symptoms; which are December 13, 14 and 15. 

On December 13, 2021, the employee operated bus #6624. On December 14, 2021, the employee operated bus #6513 and bus #8070. On December 15, 2021, the employee operated bus #6639 and bus #4673.
