Family Day 2022: What’s open and closed in Ottawa

The Family Day long weekend has arrived and residents can expect some attractions and businesses to be closed or operate under limited or reduced hours.

LCBO and Beer Store locations will be closed on Monday, February 21, along with government offices, Canada Post offices, banks, and libraries.

Most grocery stores are closed on the Family Day with a few exceptions:

Most malls and shopping centres are closed on Monday, with the exception of the Tanger Outlet Mall in Kanata. The Rideau Centre is normally open on holidays, but remains closed due to the ongoing convoy protests in the downtown core.
