Brockville COVID-19 vaccine clinic moving locations

Since vaccination rates in Brockville are “very high,” the local health unit says it no longer needs such a large space to operate and will, instead, move to a smaller location.
As of April 4, the clinic will be moved to the YMCA of Eastern Ontario at 345 Park Street.
The new immunization clinic will be providing COVID-19 vaccines as well as catch-up vaccinations needed for youth in school.
While rates of vaccination are high, there are still people who may need first, second and third doses, the Leeds, Grenville and Lanark District Health Unit said in its announcement on Wednesday, March 30.
Clinics will be held in the downstairs Teen Room from 3 p.m. to 7 p.m. every Monday until June 20, with no clinics on April 18 or May 23.
Spots will also be open on Saturday, April 9 and 23, May 7 and 21 and June 4 and 18 from 10 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The best entrance and exit will be the YMCA north parking lot.
The YMCA is closed Saturdays at 1 p.m. but the clinics on those days will be open until 4 p.m.
Appointments can be booked using the COVID-19 vaccine booking portal, or by calling Brockville’s local Vaccine Call Centre at 1-844-369-1234 Monday to Friday, 8:30 a.m. to 4 p.m.
The Brockville Vaccination Clinic has been located on Steward Street Boulevard since November 9, 2021.
