Two people in serious but stable condition following collision in Dunrobin

Two people were injured following a single-vehicle collision in the Dunrobin area on Tuesday, April 5.

Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) received an auto-generated Motor Vehicle Collison (MVC) report at 5:43 p.m. from the Ottawa Police Service (OPS) after a vehicle collided with a hydro pole.

Once crews arrived on the scene, it was confirmed that two people were trapped inside an SUV near Kinburn Side Road.

Operations got underway to free the people who were trapped and the Ottawa Paramedic Service requested an Ornge Air Ambulance.

The first person was extricated within four minutes and it took eight minutes for the second person to be removed.

Paramedics confirm that two people are in serious but stable condition.
