Ottawa fire crews tackle porch fire in the Barrhaven area
No one was injured during a porch fire in the Barrhaven area on Friday, Sept. 30.
Ottawa Fire Services (OFS) received a call at 10:13 p.m. after a neighbour reported the second-floor porch was on fire on Waterbridge Drive.
OFS quickly extinguished the fire and moved inside to check for the extension of flames.

The fire was under control by 11:46 p.m. and an Ottawa Fire investigator is looking into the cause.
The Canadian Red Cross will be assisting those affected by the incident.
