Gatineau issues winter parking ban

The City of Gatineau has issued a winter parking ban, which takes effect on Saturday, Jan. 21 at 3 a.m.
According to the City, the ban runs until 6 a.m. on Saturday, Jan. 21.

Gatineau has received eight centimetres (cm) of snow since Thursday (Jan. 20) evening, and is expecting another two to four centimetres.
“After the precipitation has ended, it takes 16 hours to complete snow removal from traffic lanes if less than 25 centimetres have fallen,” the City of Gatineau's website stated.
