No injuries after vehicle fire in ByWard Market parking garage

There are no injuries after a vehicle fire in a ByWard Market parking garage.

Ottawa fire Services (OFS) responded to reports of a vehicle on fire in an underground parking garage at 20 York Street, between Sussex Drive and ByWard Market Square, around 6:50 a.m. on Wednesday, Jan. 25.

Firefighters had the fire under control within 15 minutes and remained on scene to ventilate the garage of smoke.

OFS said the ventilation process from an underground garage is a long operation.
