Trillium pathway redirected for new TOH campus construction

Construction on the site The Ottawa Hospital's (TOH) new campus by Dow's Lake is redirecting the Trillium Multi-Use Pathway that connects Carling Avenue and Prince of Wales Drive.
The pathway, which is used by approximately 1,500 people each day, has been redirected along the west side of Preston Street.
TOH ensures the pathway will remain available throughout construction, however, the multi-use path and bike lane will be three metres wide, in addition to the existing sidewalk.
Roadwork continuing into 2024 will expand the widths of both the pedestrian and bicycle paths to 3.5 and 3 metres, respectively.
