Police stop 16-year-old G1 driver for speeding

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) stopped a 16-year-old G1 driver for speeding on Limebank Road on Feb. 7.

The teen was driving 125 km/h in an 80 km/h zone.

There were four passengers in the backseat, including two young children not in car seats.

Multiple charges were laid.

Not only wasn’t there a qualified G driver in the vehicle, but there were four passengers in the backseat, including two young children not in car seats.
