Police seeking witnesses to fatal collision in west end on Feb. 24

The Ottawa Police Service (OPS) Fatal Collision Unit is seeking witnesses to a collision that took place on Friday, Feb.24 that left one 58-year-old man dead. 
 
Ottawa firefighters helped four people out of two vehicles after responding to a motor vehicle collision on Fallowfied Road and Conley Road last Friday. 
 
When emergency crews arrived at the scene just after 8:15 p.m, the OFS said in a release that one vehicle was on its side and the other was on its wheels. 

Two people were trapped in each vehicle, and according to the OFS, it took six minutes to help people out of one vehicle, while it took almost an hour to rescue the two people from the other vehicle. 

A 58-year-old man succumbed to critical injuries suffered in the collision.

Investigators would like to speak with anyone who witnessed the collision or may have dashcam footage of this incident and have not yet spoken to police.
