Police make arrest in February Nepean gunfire

Ottawa Police Service (OPS) has now arrested a man in connection with gunfire in a Nepean neighbourhood, two months ago.

Shots were fired on St. Claire Avenue, near Baseline and Clyde, on Saturday, February 18.

Police say they raided a home on St-Laurent Boulevard over the weekend, arresting Manock Lual, 36, of Ottawa.

He’s has been charged with multiple firearm offences from the February gunfire, as well as several new firearm charges that resulted from police executing their search warrant, where police say they recovered a loaded handgun.

Lual remains in custody.
