Amber Alert issued for 8-year-old boy in Thunder Bay, Ont.

A wide-reaching Amber Alert has been issued for a young boy believed to have been abducted in Thunder Bay, Ont.

Cell phones across the Greater Toronto Area (GTA) were notified just after noon on Tuesday.

The Thunder Bay Police Service is looking for eight-year-old Emersen Poulin.

He’s believed to be with 28-year-old Christopher Poulin of Prince Albert, Sask. A police spokesperson says they are father and son.

No vehicle description is available at this time.

Police say the pair were last seen in Thunder Bay, Ont. around 11 p.m. on Monday and could be heading toward Prince Albert, Sask.

Poulin is about five-foot-eleven inches in height with shoulder-length bleached blonde hair.

An arrest warrant has been issued for the man for failing to provide necessities of life, abduction, unlawful confinement and breach of release.

Police have not specified their relationship.
